CV Bonnie Marie Bates

Bonnie Marie studied Comparative Literature at the University of California, Irvine and is a Cambridge University Royal Society of the Arts certified Teacher and Teacher Trainer in Teaching English to Adults and Young Learners (TEFLA and TEYL).  She has lived in Europe for nearly 20 years and has extensive experience  in teaching and training as well as in translating and interpreting. As head trainer for a leading Certification Board she wrote and directed a successful international training program for CTEFL certification.  She has translated manuscripts published on The Lancet and Gastroentereology and has done simultaneous translating for seminars and meetings in English, Italian and French.  She has been a liaison for US companies in Italy and currently holds online language training courses for US multinationals around the world.   Now based in Tuscany, Bonnie Marie is a premier wedding destination and travel coordinator for Italy and she is proud of her reputation among her bridal associates as the Director of My Weddings & More.
